Everything you need to launch a token on Solbase

What is Solbase

Solbase is a no-code token launcher for the Solana and Base blockchains. You connect a wallet, fill in your token's details, and Solbase builds and submits the on-chain transaction that creates it — no programming required.

Solbase is non-custodial. It never holds your private keys, your funds, or your tokens. Every transaction is signed in your own wallet, and the entire token supply is minted directly to your address. Solbase cannot move, freeze, or claw back anything you create.

Launching a token

  1. 1. Connect your wallet. Choose Solana or Base and connect a supported wallet from the button in the top navigation.
  2. 2. Configure your token. On the Launch page, enter a name, symbol, and total supply. Optionally add a description, logo, and social links.
  3. 3. Launch. Approve the transaction in your wallet. Once it confirms, you're taken to a success page with your token's address and a link to the block explorer. Tokens you create are also listed on your Tokens page.

Heads up: token creation is permanent and on-chain. Double-check the name, symbol, and supply before approving — they can't be changed after launch.

Solana vs Base

Solbase deploys real tokens on whichever chain you choose. They use different token standards:

⚡ Solana

  • SPL token with on-chain Metaplex metadata
  • Logo & metadata stored on IPFS
  • 9 decimals
  • Fast, very low network fees

🔷 Base

  • Standard fixed-supply ERC-20
  • Full supply minted to your wallet
  • 18 decimals
  • Ethereum L2 secured by Base

Fees

Launching a token involves two separate costs:

  • Solbase platform fee. A flat fee per launch: 0.01 SOL on Solana and 0.001 ETH on Base.
  • Network (gas) fee. Paid to the blockchain itself to process your transaction. This varies with network conditions and is not collected by Solbase. On Solana it is typically a fraction of a cent; on Base it is a few cents.

Both fees are paid from your connected wallet at launch time, so make sure you hold enough SOL or ETH to cover them.

Supported wallets

⚡ Solana

Phantom, Solflare, and Coinbase Wallet.

🔷 Base

MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and other WalletConnect-compatible EVM wallets. Your wallet must be on the Base network — Solbase will prompt you to switch if it isn't.

After launch

  • Add it to your wallet. Import the token using its contract / mint address so the balance shows up.
  • Add liquidity. To make your token tradable, create a liquidity pool on a DEX — Raydium for Solana or Uniswap for Base. The success page links you straight there.
  • Swap. Use the Swap page to trade tokens on either chain.

Troubleshooting

  • Transaction failed or timed out. Usually a network congestion or RPC issue. Make sure you have enough SOL or ETH for fees and try again.
  • Wallet won't connect. Confirm the wallet extension is unlocked and set to the correct chain, then refresh the page.
  • "Wrong network" on Base. Approve the prompt to switch your wallet to the Base network before launching.
